Meet Cherie Silberman
Employment Law Attorney and Workplace Investigator
Cherie is a licensed Florida attorney and credentialed workplace investigator. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, with high honors, and her law degree from the University of Miami. Cherie is an Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Certificate Holder, credentials she received after completing the ANAB Accredited AWI Training Institute in 2021. Cherie is an active member of AWI, serving in a leadership role as a Co-Chair of its Annual Conference Committee and as a Co-Convener for AWI’s Florida chapter.
For more than 20 years, Cherie has worked with a variety of companies, ranging from some of the largest global companies to family-owned businesses and startups. This wide range of experience has given her the ability to have an understanding and appreciation of the challenges and risks that exist in various workplaces. Cherie’s practice focuses on conducting impartial workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employee complaints. She has handled a variety of complex investigations in the public and private sector, with matters involving anonymous complainants, allegations against C-suite executives and business owners, and unionized employees. Cherie conducts investigations virtually or in person throughout Florida. Cherie also provides training to HR professionals and other employees on a variety of employment law matters.
